Operating Precautions for Shot Blasting Machines for Welded Workpieces

Abrasive shot and dust fall through small holes on the conveyor belt into the bottom screw conveyor, which transports the mixture to the bucket elevator. The elevator lifts the abrasives up to the separator for classification. A fan draws dust-laden air into the dust collector, where dust is filtered out and clean air is vented to the atmosphere. Dust accumulates in the collection bin at the bottom of the dust collector and requires regular cleaning. Recyclable abrasives flow back to the blasting chamber through a recycling pipeline for repeated use after separation in the separator. All blasting angles and coverage zones are calculated via computer-aided design.
