This equipment mainly rotates steel pipes to treat their outer surfaces and inner cavities, removing bonded molding sand, oxide layers, welding slag, mill scale and other foreign impurities. It smoothens the steel pipe surface, boosts the adhesion of paint coatings on workpieces, enhances the steel pipe’s fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance, and extends its service life.
Equipment Working Sequence
Infeed support → Feeding by feeding mechanism → Enter shot blasting chamber → Shot blasting treatment (workpiece rotates while advancing) → Abrasive storage → Flow control → Secondary blasting treatment of workpiece → Vertical bucket elevator lifting → Abrasive-slag separation → Abrasive recirculation → Exit from blasting chamber → Discharging via unloading mechanism → Outfeed support. The shot blaster is equipped with curved blades, which optimize the abrasive intake flow performance and raise blasting power. The abrasive coverage on workpieces is compact and uniform without blind zones, and equipment maintenance is simpler.
Advantages
Equipped with multi-functional cantilever centrifugal blasting heads, featuring large abrasive output, high processing efficiency, fast blade replacement, universal interchangeable parts and easy maintenance.
Workpieces continuously pass through the inlet and outlet of the shot blasting machine. For cleaning steel pipes of varying diameters, multi-layer replaceable sealing brushes are installed to block abrasive splashing and achieve reliable sealing.
Full-curtain BE type abrasive-slag separator is adopted, which greatly improves separation capacity, separation efficiency and blasting quality, and lowers wear of blasting components.
