Product details of
Steel Crawler Shot Blasting Machine
Description
The 15GN series steel crawler shot blasting machine is used for sand removal, rust removal, oxide scale elimination and surface strengthening of small castings, forgings, stampings, gears, springs and other components. It is especially suitable for cleaning and strengthening parts that can withstand collisions. This shot blasting machine adopts a cavity formed by manganese steel crawler belts to carry workpieces. During operation, the crawler rotates and tumbles the workpieces inside the cavity, enabling thorough cleaning of both inner and outer surfaces of parts.

Working Principle
After a specified quantity of workpieces is loaded into the blasting chamber, the pneumatic door closes automatically and the machine starts. The crawler belt drives the workpieces to tumble continuously. Meanwhile, blast wheels eject abrasives in fan-shaped streams, striking workpiece surfaces evenly.Spent abrasives and molding sand fall through tiny holes on the steel crawler onto the underlying screw conveyor, which transports the mixture to the elevator. The elevator lifts the mixture to the separator for sorting. The fan draws dust-laden air into the dust collector for filtration. Clean air is then discharged into the atmosphere. Separated dust settles into the dust hopper at the bottom of the dust collector and can be cleaned out regularly. Residual sand drains through the drain pipe for recycling. The mixture of intact abrasives and sand flows back to the blasting chamber via a recycling pipe. After separation in the separator, qualified clean abrasives pass through the abrasive gate into the blast wheels to blast workpieces repeatedly.
Advantages
Compact structure with simple working principle
Gentle tumbling and rotation without damaging workpieces
Continuous and complete abrasive recovery system
