The working principle of the filter cartridge of a shot blasting machine is as follows: While the shot blasting machine is running, dust-laden air carrying dust and debris is drawn toward the filter cartridge. Filter cartridges are generally manufactured from porous filter media capable of capturing dust particles. When air flows through the cartridge, dust contaminants are trapped on the surface or within the pores of the filter cartridge, while clean air penetrates through and is exhausted outside. This maintains a clean working environment and prevents dust diffusion. Dust gradually accumulates on the filter cartridge, so regular cleaning or replacement of the cartridge is required to sustain consistent, efficient filtering performance.
