The uneven shot blasting output of the shot blasting machine can be attributed to the following factors:
Faults of the abrasive feeding system These include insufficient abrasive stored in the storage hopper, blockages or caking inside the hopper, as well as malfunctions of abrasive conveying equipment such as belt conveyors and screw conveyors, such as uneven operation, wear, excessive clearance or jamming.
Abnormal operation of the blasting wheel Uneven wear of the impeller or incorrect angle and position of the control cage will lead to inconsistent abrasive output.
Defects of the distributor wheel Worn or improperly installed distributor wheels will affect the uniformity of shot blasting.
Disturbed airflow Abnormal air currents inside the working chamber interfere with the blasting process and result in uneven blasting coverage.
Installation errors Uneven or unstable installation of the shot blasting machine and loose foundation bolts will cause uneven shot blasting.
